Korean Singer Wheesung Passes Away at 43
Korean singer Wheesung (real name Choi Wheesung) has tragically passed away at the age of 43. According to an official statement from his agency, Tajo Entertainment, Wheesung was found in a state of cardiac arrest at his home in Seoul on March 10, 2025, and was later pronounced dead.

It is painful to share such heartbreaking news with the fans who have always shown him unconditional love and support. We kindly ask everyone to pray for Wheesung's peaceful rest."
The agency also requested restraint regarding speculation and rumors, stating:

For the sake of his grieving family, we earnestly ask that unverified rumors and speculative reports be avoided.
Once again, we extend our deepest condolences to Wheesung as he embarks on his final journey."

According to local police and emergency services, Wheesung was discovered unconscious in his apartment in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, at approximately 6:29 PM. His family alerted emergency responders, but despite efforts to resuscitate him, he was declared deceased.
